Step 2 of 3
Add a second input that asks for mild or savage, then use if/else to pick different lists.
π if/else π₯ input()
Update your code so it looks like this:
import random name = input("Who do you want to roast? ") level = input("Pick a roast level β mild or savage: ").lower() mild_starters = ["Okay so,", "Not to be rude but,", "Bless your heart,"] mild_middles = ["your fashion sense", "your taste in music", "your Roblox skills"] mild_endings = ["could use some work.", "is a little questionable.", "needs a rethink."] savage_starters = ["Listen up,", "I'm not saying,", "Look,"] savage_middles = ["your entire personality", "your life choices", "your vibe"] savage_endings = ["is actually painful to witness.", "made my eyes water.", "needs serious help."] if level == "savage": starters = savage_starters middles = savage_middles endings = savage_endings else: starters = mild_starters middles = mild_middles endings = mild_endings roast = random.choice(starters) + " " + name + ", " + random.choice(middles) + " " + random.choice(endings) print(roast)
Before you add .lower() β what happens if someone types SAVAGE in caps? Try it and see. Then add .lower() and try again.
After it works, replace the mild and savage lists with your own lines from Step 1. You now have 6 separate lists β mild and savage versions of starters, middles, and endings.
